Protecting Your Music Copyright

How the site works: You or your representative upload your creative work by clicking on the button to register your work on the right. The simple registrations steps are that you add details about the work and then click a button to upload your work on our secure online pages that use the same security as banks online. If uploading more than one piece of work you can add all your work titles during the simple upload process. Once uploaded, your work is dated with an encrypted code on a secure and private online page that you can login and view at any time. The registration date and encrypted code clearly witness and provide proof for you that your creative work existed as registered on the date uploaded by you should anyone try to infringe your copyright in the future. You can show your work's secure and dated registration page at any time to a legal professional if required, including using our free expert legal advice for registered members, see below. You can choose to register up to TEN pieces of your work on our service economically for 3 years for just £24.99 and extend that time as required to continue to protect your work and its original registration date.

What you do if you feel your copyright has been infringed by someone: You simply login to our site and click on a secure link on your creative work registration page which enables you to show your registration page to your legal representative as required. This will show the legal representative the date your work was registered with our service. It is also unique in that the legal representative can if required download the work you uploaded on your registration page and the encrypted code attached to the work called a SHA-1 acts as a unique fingerprint to categorically show that the creative work has not been altered since registered. The SHA-1 encrypted code was invented in 1993 by US government standards agency the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and is used in e-commerce throughout the world. Current University research shows it would take a supercomputer over 32,000 years to duplicate a SHA-1 so it categorically shows a work has not been altered since registered.
